This has been a hard work for finding time to watch movies or write. Plus I’ve been having connection problems with the computer at home so I don’t know how much writing I’ll get to do over the weekend. For next week I hope to review War of the Gargantuas plus 1-2 more films as well 80’s arcade games and maybe one other feature.

I hope to wrap up my Tim Burton week with a review of Beetlejuice on Friday. For next week 80’s arcade games will be back as well as Robin’s Holy exclamations! I’m thinking It came from the bargain bin will make it’s way around too, but I’m not sure what film it will be. Here’s my new not so fancy logo for that feature.
I’ll likely review another film or two as well, but right now I have no idea what they will be.

I probably won’t be posting tomorrow so Happy New Year’s a day early! I hope to review Guardians of the Galaxy on Friday. I’ve thought about feature to continue, start or bring back for 2015. I’ve settled on three. Robin’s Holy Exclamations will start back up hopefully weekly as will 80’s arcade games. It came from the bargain bin will appear hopefully twice a month. Apart from those I will continue with the usual barely written reviews, occasional lists and assorted rants and such.
Of course playoffs are this weekend so I plan on being busy watching those. Although my team has a bye this week (Denver). Should be some good games, but my feeling is all the home teams win this week.
I don’t get many TV channels as we don’t have cable and once TV went digital we lost most of our network channels. However the other day our This channel (crap) suddenly had ME tv (solid) and what had been ME tv suddenly had Cozi tv. We never had Cozi before but that means now we’ll get the Six Million dollar man, The Bionic Woman, Knight Rider, Zorro, Magnum PI and other classic shows. So I am pretty excited about that, probably more excited than anyone else in my house.

Okay, so I got behind early, but two reviews today I am now half way through. If I do one per day between tomorrow and Christmas Eve I’ll get them done. Of the four left I have watched all but “Twas the night before Christmas recently so the other three are fresh in my mind with the only shortest of the four yet to watch. I have no idea of the order, but will aim to knock them out over the next four days.
I recently watched Guardians of the Galaxy, the new Turtles film, Sharknado 2 and Street Fighter from 1994 (a $3 pick up from Big Lots). I won’t say what I think of all of them, but maybe I’ll aim to review all of those during the final week of the year. Then come 2015 I’ll get into review more older films.

Happy Thanksgiving! For about the last six years the evening before Thanksgiving at my house we eat a dinner of the above items. Peanuts fans will recognize it as the foods Snoopy served on the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and we eat this while we watch that special. I hope to have a Critters 2 review out some time today as I did watch it yesterday and then Hellboy 2 on Friday. Robin’s Holy exclamations will happen Sunday and hopefully Dr. Smith will finally return next week. One of the reasons I started this blog was to help urge myself to watch more of the films I have never seen that are laying around my house. I have not done as much of that recently so next week I’ll aim to get at least two reviews of films I’ve never seen up on the blog. Last year I started a segment called Saturday morning flashback and I reviewed a few episodes of the Star Trek cartoon. I hope to bring that segment back soon and it may be reviews of specific episodes of old Saturday morning shows or it may be my memories or general overviews of some of those cartoons or shows. Whatever the case since Saturday morning cartoons are now a thing of the past I hope to get that segment going soon and hopefully be consistent enough to keep it going. I hope to include sci-fi, super hero, fantasy and action cartoons and live action shows from the 60’s through the 80’s in this feature.

I still owe a review of Galaxyquest which will happen on Friday because I have watched, but just need time to write it. My home computer went up on me and I wasn’t prepared to buy a new one just yet so right now I write during my breaks at work. So unless I get a new computer soon I won’t be writing during this weekend. One way or another I will be next week. Not sure what movies I’ll review yet, but Robin will likely stop by Monday instead of Sunday and I’ll write on an 80’s video game plus perhaps the return of Dr. Smith’s insult of the week.
So after two sloppy and hurried reviews I am almost caught up on space vampire week. Star Trek’s Mantrap will be up on Friday to wrap up the week. Next week will be space spoof week with reviews of Galaxina, Spaceballs and Galaxy Quest.
I am thinking about bringing back Robin’s Holy words, Dr. Smith’s Insult of the week and the once short lived Saturday Morning Flashback. Let me know if you think I should bring these features back or just let them lay there.

I don’t like the Giants and I wasn’t rooting for them, but they played a great series so congratulations to them. It is sad to have no more baseball for months. Halloween is of course tomorrow which is great although I am not thrilled by the cold front that is coming in on my area now. I am thinking that I won’t get around to one more First Fright Friday post tomorrow. However I am going to make next week Halloween leftover week which will include the posts I didn’t get to in October which will include the above First Fright Friday, a Sleepy Hollow Sunday on Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, a TV terror on the Munsters and maybe one more post.
